Michael Kilroy was in our class in 8th grade, and I'm not sure if he was with us beyond that. But those of us who knew him will remember him as a nice guy who always had a smile on his face. A graduate of U.S.M.A. at West Point, Captain Michael Kilroy was killed in Vietnam in the service of his country. His home town of Wayne, NJ dedicated a park in his memory. >Slatshttp://newjersey.hometownlocator.com/maps/feature-map,ftc,2,fid,2352206,n,captain%20micheal%20kilroy%20memorial%20park.cfm

As a West Point classmate I recall Mike's prowess as a swimmer who was captain of the USMA swimming team. It is with deep gratitude we are remembering you and all the others who served and died in times of war so that we may enjoy the Freedom and Liberties that make the United States of America great.

I am researching the fallen soldiers of Vietnam and I would like to honor Captain Kilroy for his service. My financee is a West Point graduate and I know that Captain Kilroy must have been a truly amazing leader with outstanding qualities if he was able to graduate from USMA. I respect Captain Kilroy's service and his dedication to his country.

I worked for his parents at Dan's Steakhouse located on Rt. 23 back in the late '60's. They were nice people despite the sad loss.
