Eddie was a fabulous guy, honest and forthright. He always seemed a little more mature than the rest of us. I remember a lot about him. But whenever of think of him I think also of his parents. He was an only child and the light of their life. I can't imagine what they went through when he died at such an early age. Being a lot wiser now, than I was then, I realize that I should have searched them out and told them how highly I thought of their son. It's now too late. I hope to meet Eddie and his folks again and make up for this.
